A concentric clutch release mechanism 10 for a pull type clutch has a mounting assembly 14 (see fig 5) releasably attachable to a support and a clutch release actuator assembly 16 (see fig 6) releasably connectable to the mounting assembly 14 by means of a quick release coupling (18, fig 4). The quick release coupling may include a split ring (42, fig 4) and the mechanism may also include a remotely operable pneumatic actuator (50, fig 5) for decoupling the quick-release coupling. |
