PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce process failure of a refrigerant tube in a manufacturing process, in a heat exchanger having the continuously-meandering refrigerant tube. SOLUTION: A first end plate 4 is provided with a first through hole 7 for inserting the refrigerant tube, and a roughly-rectangular working hole 11 adjacent to a long side of a first through hole rectangular portion 7a, a second end plate 5 is provided with a hole 8 for inserting the refrigerant tube, the first end plate is disposed in a state of penetrating through the other tube bent portions 3A, 3b in a state that a tube bent portion 3B at one side of the refrigerant tube 3 penetrates through a plate fin 2 and the second end plate 5, and then a close-contact portion 12 formed between the working hole 11 and the first through hole 7 is elastically deformed to be closely kept into contact with the refrigerant tube 3, thus the refrigerant tube 3 and the first end plate 4 are closely kept into contact with and fixed to each other. The friction between the first through hole 7 and the refrigerant tube 3 in assembling can be reduced, process failure of the refrigerant tube 3 can be reduced, and further manufacturing costs can be reduced.
