A method of terminating packet connectivity for local Internet Protocol access, LIPA, traffic involving a wireless communication, comprising: receiving a message that indicates an access terminal is establishing a wireless connection with a base station; determining that an existing LIPA packet data network context, an existing LIPA PDN context, is not available for use at the base station; and sending a deactivation request to a local gateway, a L-GW, associated with the existing LIPA PDN context to terminate the existing LIPA PDN context as well as a corresponding apparatus and a corresponding computer program product. |
