The invention relates to a fabric adhesive tape, in particular a cable winding tape, made of a linear fabric carrier (1) having an adhesive coating at least on one side. The fabric carrier (1) is produced of warp threads (2) and weft threads (3) and the thread count (titer) in dtex of the weft threads (3) is greater than the thread count (titer) in dtex of the warp threads (2). The thread count in dtex/cm of the warp threads (2) based on the width is less than the thread count in dtex/cm of the weft threads (3) based on the length. The thread count of the warp threads (2), based on the width, is about 2,000 to 4,000 dtex/cm and the thread count of the weft threads (3), based on the length, is about 8,000 to 20,000 dtex/cm, preferably 8,000 to 16,000 dtex/cm. The invention further relates to a linear fabric carrier (1) for use with a fabric adhesive tape according to the invention. |
