摘要 PURPOSE: A snake robot of friction control using a magneto rheological elastomer is provided to use as exploration, task, or military purpose at regions having environmental restrictions such as narrow roads, swamps, or deserts. CONSTITUTION: A snake robot of friction control using a magneto rheological elastomer(10) comprises joints(20), connection joints(30), a handling part(40), and a supporting member. Accommodation grooves are formed in both sides of the joints. A magneto rheological elastomer is mounted at the bottom of each joint and connection joint. A solenoid and a control part are mounted inside each joint and connection joint. Both ends of the connection joint are inserted in the accommodation grooves.
