PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene microporous film used for a cell excellent in productivity and characteristics and having excellent safety realized by a perfect fuse effect, and a cell obtained using the same. SOLUTION: This microporous film made of polyethylene is composed of a composition containing, at least, 10-95 wt.% of a high-density polyethylene having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 100,000-4,000,000 and 5-90 wt.% of a polyethylene having a melting point higher than 125 deg.C and not higher than 132 deg.C. |
