<p>A data storage and access system (1) includes an access control system (12) which allows protected data in a store (11) to be accessed only on provision of an access token (93), which has to be generated and retrieved from a secure remote server (3). This prevents unauthorised tampering with the data in the store (11). After each use, the store (11) is locked and the token is deleted, so that a new token has to be retrieved from the secure server (3) for each accession attempt.</p> |
