METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ANAESTHETISING ANIMALS TO BE SLAUGHTERED

The method involves fixing a battle animal (10) on a conveyor (12) before anaesthetizing process. Electrodes are set in a region of a head of the battle animal. Position of ears of the battle animal is determined by an optical sensor (24) i.e. camera, of a sensor device. The position determined by image processing of the region is determined as a reference point in which the electrodes are placed on the region. The electrodes are set during transportation of the battle animal under consideration of conveying speed of the battle animal. An independent claim is also included for a plant for anaesthetizing a battle animal.
