A method for predicting the efficacy of the conservative therapy of osteoarthrosis provides for the analysis of the cytokine profile in blood serum. TGF&bgr;/TNFα ratio is assessed. When on Day 30 since the beginning of the treatment, TGF&bgr;/TNFα ratio ≥ 14.96, the prediction is positive. When such ratio is not attained, the therapeutic regimen should be corrected. |
