<p>Method and system for gait controlled operations of a device including one or more gait sensors (22) for sensing a pattern of self-propelled movement of a person, which defines a gait. The gait controlled device (10) includes at least one data processor (40) configured for determining one or more first parameters which define a first gait of an authenticated person based on a first output of the one or more gait sensors. The data processor uses a second output of the one or more gait sensors (22) to determine one or more second parameters which define a second gait of a second person. Thereafter, the data processor compares the first parameters to the second parameters to determine if the second gait resulted from the authenticated person. The data processor is configured to perform at least one action responsive to the comparing.</p> |
