A method for sowing and growing winter rape with extended row spacings in arid conditions of the South of Ukraine comprises shredding and scattering straw over the field after harvesting the preceding crop (spring barley), stubble ploughing, tillage or disking with mulching soil for a depth of 6-, mineral fertilizing, presowing cultivation, sowing of treated seed with extended row spacings in the optimum agrotechnical terms, cultivation of crops, harvesting. Winter rape with row spacings of 30 or , sowing rates of 2.5 and 1.5 kg/ha correspondingly is sown. |
