<p>PURPOSE: A composition for suppressing stem cell death during suspension culture and a composition for culturing a large amount of stem cells are provided to enable effective suspension culture. CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing stem cell death during suspension culture contains ROCK inhibitor(rho-associated kinase inhibitor) as an active ingredient. The stem cells are isolated and cultured without aggregation. The ROCK inhibitor is a compound of chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, X is sulfur or oxygen; and R is an alkyl group of C1-C3. The stem cells are human mesenchymal stem cell. The composition additionally contains an antioxidant such as glutathione, cysteine, cysteamine, ubiquinol, or bME(beta-mercaptoethanol). A composition for culturing a large amount of the stem cells contains beta-mercaptoethanol bloker, ROCK, and antioxidant as an active ingredient.</p> |
