METHOD FOR CONTROLLING REGENERATIVE BRAKING IN VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A regenerative braking control method of a vehicle is provided to minimize the different feeling in braking transferred to a driver when down-shifting for maintaining the riding comfort. CONSTITUTION: A regenerative braking control method of a vehicle comprises the following: cutting the regenerative braking torque of a motor for preventing the generation of shift shock when the down-shift is started by braking; compensating the braking force of an electronic brake by the amount of the regenerative braking torque for maintaining the requested braking force; and connecting the cut regenerative braking torque when the down-shifting is finished. The cutting and connecting steps of the regenerative braking torque of the motor is performed by copying the response characteristics of the electronic brake.
