PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing pour point depressant from glycerol is provided to reduce cost for processing the glycerol and cost for producing biofuel. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing pour point depressant from glycerol comprises: a step of fermenting glycerol(C_3H_5(OH)_3) to prepare propandiol(C_3H_8O_2)(S100); a step of performing dehydration to prepare CH_2=C(CH_3)-OH from propandiol(C_3H_8O_2)(S200); a step of performing esterification of CH_2=C(CH_3)-OH to RCOOH to prepare CH_2=C(CH_3)-COOR(S300); and a step of mixing CH_2=C(CH_3)-COOR and alkyl benzene(S400). The alkyl benzene has an alkyl group of C5-C12.
