SILICONE RESIN COMPOSITION AND OPTICAL MATERIAL

PURPOSE: A silicone resin composition for forming optical material and an optical material are provided to improve transparency and prevent siloxane contamination due to pyrolysis. CONSTITUTION: A silicone resin composition for forming optical material contains silicon based polymer which is obtained by condensating/hydrolysis the silicon based monomer which includes the hydrolyzable silane. The silane compound is represented by chemical formula 1. The hydrolysis silane compound is C1-6 linear, branched, or cyclic aliphatic carbon hydrogen group, or a silane compound which combines a substituent selected from three or more hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, and hydrolysable group with one or more of silicon atom. The silicon based monomer includes more than 70 mole% of hydrolysis silane compound based on silicon.
