PURPOSE: An evaporator for vehicle is provided to prevent inlet pressure reduction of a compressor due to pressure drop of an outlet side by improving the structure of inlet and outlet portions of an evaporator. CONSTITUTION: An evaporator for vehicle comprises a tube(10), upper and lower headers(20), upper and lower tanks(30, 30'), and a plurality of fins(40). The tubes are composed of plural rows. The upper and lower headers comprise a partition partitioning front and rear heating flow passage. The upper and lower tanks forms a coolant flow passage. The plurality of fins is comprised between tubes. Inlet and outlet ports(31, 31', 32, 32') are formed in the both sides of the upper tank. Blocking plates(25, 26) are formed in the mid-portion of the upper and lower headers and the right and left space of an evaporator are formed independently. |
