PURPOSE: A calcium-organic framework compound with a primary helix chain is provided to be various fields through excellent physical property. CONSTITUTION: A calcium-organic frame compound contains a structural unit of chemical formula 1(Ca[NC_5H_3(CO_2)_2](H_2O)_x). A method for preparing the compound comprises a step of mixing calcium precursor, organic compounds, organic solvent, and water. The calcium precursor is Ca(OH)_2, Ca(OH)_2, CaCO_3 or Ca(NO_3)_2. The organic compound is 2,6-pyridine dicarboxylic acid, 2,3-pyridine dicarboxylic acid, or 2,5-pyridine dicarboxylic acid.
