PURPOSE: A brush assembly for a motor is provided to prevent contact failure between a commutator and a brush by forming a brush spring in a spring guide part stopper guided so that the brush spring can be released and contracted in a horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION: A commutator for rectifying a current applied to a rotor is installed on one side of the rotor. A brush assembly is electrically connected to the outside of the commutator in order to supply power to the commutator. The brush assembly comprises a brush electrically connected to the commutator, a brush spring providing elastic force to the commutator, and a brush stopper(10) supported through the brush spring. The brush spring is composed of a coil spring providing the elastic force to the brush. The brush stopper comprises a supporting plate(12) perpendicularly arranged on a rear portion of a brush holder, a hook portion(14) assembled in the brush holder, and a spring guide part(50) guiding the brush spring. |
