PURPOSE: An air compressor using wind power is provided to protect a compressing unit from high-speed wind by installing a permanent magnet clutch. CONSTITUTION: An air compressor using wind power comprises a rotor blade, a transmission plate(65), permanent magnets, a reduction gear(53), and an air cylinder. A transmission shaft(55) and a spindle gear(57) are rotated with the power of the permanent magnets and the reduction gear is reversely rotated if the rotor blade and the transmission plate are rotated by wind power. The torque is converted into a linear reciprocating motion of the air cylinder by a crank pin(51), a rod end(49), and a cylinder rod. The air is delivered to the high pressure tank of the compressor by the operation of the intake port of the air cylinder and a check valve of an exhaust port. |
