PURPOSE: An AR(Augmented Reality) service system of a portable terminal and a method thereof are provided to offer a product, service points, advertisement, or a coupon for a product or a service which are coping with an AR object. CONSTITUTION: A system communication unit(112) transmits obtained location information to an AR service system(120). The system communication unit receives information of one or more AR objects coping with a product or a service from the AR service system. A user interface unit(113) displays AR objects to users through an AR based interface. The user interface unit receives inputs of selected one or more AR objects.
