PURPOSE: A photovoltaic module and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to generate light from a light source part by using a current generated from the photovoltaic module itself. CONSTITUTION: A photovoltaic module comprises a substrate(100), a first electrode(110), a photoelectric conversion layer(120), A second electrode(130), a first protective layer(140), a light guide plate(150), a reflecting plate(160), a second protective layer(170), and a rear substrate(180). A light source part(190) is formed on a side of the light guide plate. A current generated from the photoelectric conversion layer is provided to the light source part. The light generated from the light source part enters the light guide plate. The light source part is formed on an entire edge region of the photovoltaic module at the side of the light guide plate. A power supply part(200) is a circuit for supplying the current generated from the photoelectric conversion layer to the light source part. |
