NUCLEAR REACTOR RETUBING ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: An assembly of changing a reactor tube is provided to insert a new fuel channel component into a fuel channel for a reactor having a horizontal fuel channel by eliminating a degraded fuel channel component from the fuel channel. CONSTITUTION: A reactor area bridge assembly(88) includes a reactor area bridge(90) supported in each end portion by a supporting tower(92) in order to lift and drop the bridge. The bridge supports a carriage(96) in order to refuel on a fuel channel(14) of a reactor. A platform is extended between supporting towers of the bridge assembly. A tube changing or serving and repair assembly(10) includes a vertical positioning tool(30) combining a main platform and a support platform.
