An information display apparatus of an image display device and a method thereof are provided to display only ticker information of another channel on a predetermined area during the watching of the present broadcasting. The first tuner(101) tunes the channel selected by a user. The second tuner(104) tunes the channel including the ticker information. The first signal processing member(102) processes and displays the broadcasting signal tuned by the first tuner on the first display member(103). The second signal processing member(105) processes and displays the broadcasting signal tuned by the second tuner on a predetermined area of the first display member. A control member(108) controls the display procedures of the image signal and ticker information processed by the first and second signal processing members. |
