PURPOSE: A polypropylene resin for a protective film is provided to have little fish-eye, to have excellent transparence, and excellent thermal resistance and cuttability. CONSTITUTION: A polypropylene resin for a protective film is a ethylene propylene block copolymer gradually polymerized of a propylene homopolymer and an ethylene propylene copolymer in a reactor. The melting index of the ethylene propylene block copolymer is 1-10 g/10minutes. The ethylene propylene copolymer content of the ethylene propylene block copolymer is 5-20 weight% based on content of solvent-extracted rubber. The weight average molecular weight of the ethylene propylene block copolymer is 5-20 weight% based on the solvent-extracted rubber.
