PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for storing telephone number in a mobile terminal is provided to conveniently perform without an additional menu selection manipulation. CONSTITUTION: If a telephone number storing command is requested, a control unit offers a name input request message to a user(201,203). If a name is inputted, the control unit matches the inputted name with a phone book list(205,207). If the inputted name does not exist in the phone book list, the control unit creates the inputted name(209,213). The control unit stores the created name to the phone book list with the telephone number. |
