PURPOSE: A magenta toner, a developing agent, a toner cartridge, a process cartridge, an image forming device, and an image forming method are provided to include a polyester resin with a repeating unit derived from bisphenol A ethylene oxide. CONSTITUTION: A magenta toner includes toner particles containing a coloring agent and a binding resin. Carmine 6B and Pigment yellow 180 are used as the coloring agent. The mass ratio of the Carmine 6B and the Pigment yellow 180 are 99:1 to 10000:1. A polyester resin containing a repeating unit derived from bisphenol A ethylene oxide, represented by chemical formula 1, is used as the binding resin. In chemical formula 1, m and n are respectively the integer of 2 to 4. The volume average particle diameter of the magenta toner is in a range between 8 and 15um. The toner particles include hydrocarbon-based wax as a releasing agent.
