PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for identifying accessories using a contactless interface is provided to distinguish accessories around the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: If a hole switch(450) senses magnetic field, an accessory sensing unit(440) operates a previously determined function by the position of the hole switch. If the hole switch senses the magnetic field, the accessory sensing unit distinguishes the sort of neighboring accessory device according to the position of the hole switch. A control unit(420) performs the function of the accessory sensing unit.
