PURPOSE: An automatic flux injection apparatus without power and an operating method thereof are provided to reduce production costs because separate power sources or a motor are not installed and flux powders are transferred using only compressed carrier gas. CONSTITUTION: An automatic flux injection apparatus without power comprises a storage tank(10), a first pipe(30), a discharge pipe(20), and a second pipe(40). The storage tank stores flux powders. An outlet for discharging the flux powders is formed in a lower part of the storage tank. The first pipe supplies compressed carrier gas from a pressure gas tank to molten metal. The discharge pipe connects the outlet and the first pipe. The discharge pipe transfers the flux powders from the outlet to the first pipe. The second pipe supplies the compressed carrier gas from the pressure gas tank to the storage tank. The flux powders in the storage tank are supplied to the molten metal by the carrier gas. |
