FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus for measuring parameters of a fluid medium has a measuring unit on the source side which measures a parameter which indicates the operating mode of the source (20) of the fluid medium and varies in accordance with the fluid medium generation mode, a first measuring unit at the pipeline side, a second measuring unit at the pipeline side lying at a given distance from the first measuring unit along the direction of flow of the fluid medium, and a computing unit. The first and second measuring units on the pipeline side measure a parameter associated with passage of the fluid medium and which varies according to the operating mode of the source of the fluid medium. The computing unit calculates the flow rate of the fluid medium based on the time difference between change in the parameter measured by the measuring unit on the source side, and change in the parameter measured by the first measuring unit on the pipeline side or by the second measuring unit on the pipeline side. The distance (L) along the pipe between the position for measuring the parameter associated with the source of the fluid medium and the second measuring unit on the pipeline side or the second measuring unit on the pipeline side is calculated. ^ EFFECT: possibility of accurate determination of flow rate of a fluid medium. ^ 10 cl, 13 dwg |
