FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an improved method of producing dialkyl- or alkyl-arylamines of general formula R-NH-R1, where R1=C6H13, C8H17, C6H5CH2, via alkylation of amines with alcohols in the presence of a catalyst. The starting amines used are aniline, benzylamine, 1-naphthylamine, 8-aminoquinoline, the alcohols used are 1-hexanol, 1-octanol, benzyl alcohol, and the catalyst used is nickel or cobalt nanoparticles obtained in a reaction mass by reducing water-soluble salts of these metals with hydrazine hydrate. The reaction takes place at molar ratio amine: alcohol: catalyst equal to 1:1.5-2:0.1-0.3 at temperature 160-200C for 6-9 hours. ^ EFFECT: method enables to obtain a product with high output and also use readily available alkylating agents and catalysts. ^ 7 ex |
