Classes 20(4) and 107 A drainage outlet for incorporation in a roof or floor having a waterproof covering of, e.g. asphalt or roofing felt, comprises an outlet pipe 3 with hopper-shaped entry 4, a shallow frame 7 secured to the entry by a hexagonal headed screw 12 which passes through a hole 11 in a crosspiece 9 forming part of the frame and is received in a tapped hole 14 in a similar crosspiece 13 forming part of the entry 4 and a flat grating 6 which is secured to the frame by a screw 16 received in a tapped hole in the head of screw 12. The waterproof covering is lapped over part of the entry and is gripped between the inner surface of the entry and the outer surface of the frame. The grating may be domed 20 or of pyramidal form.</p> |
