FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to production of steel tube from strips or sheets. Proposed method comprises bending steel sheet or strip, welding along the lengthwise edges of strip or sheet to make continuous lengthwise weld seam, and strain release machining. The latter is carried out in radial straightening on, at least, one section, along lengthwise axis during cold reduction. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of tube and process efficiency. ^ 9 cl, 2 dwg |
