Invention relates to medicine, specifically, to the gastroenterology. It can be used in method of detection of effectiveness of treatment of cholestatic syndrome in elderly patients.The method involves: incubation of duodenal juice with milk before and after treatment course; addition phenolphtaleine to incubated mixture; titration by NaOH and analysing colour changes of this mixture and determination the necessary volume of NaOH for it.
