PURPOSE: A communication terminal and a method for operating the same are provided to easily manage various types of content through various methods. CONSTITUTION: A control unit connects a video call to one or more external devices(S1110). The control unit displays one of an image which is taken by a camera or a video which is received from other electronic device on a display unit(S1120). The control unit displays one or more content to the display unit(S1130). The control unit receives a command for sharing the display unit(S1140). The control unit transmits some parts of the displayed content to the external device(S1150).
