MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY TO SPECIFIC MONKEY CD43 AND A HYBRIDOMA PRODUCING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A high affinity monoclonal antibody anti-monkey CD43 antibody and a hybridoma producing the same are provided to recognize monkey-specific CD43 antigen with high affinity and to enhance T cell activation. CONSTITUTION: An anti-monkey CD43 monoclonal antibody is specific to CD43 antigen isolated from a monkey. The CD43 antibody contains a variable region of heavy chain having an amino acid of sequence number 1 and a variable region of light chain having an amino acid of sequence number 2. The monoclonal antibody is produced by a hydridoma(deposit number KCLRF-BP-00231). A composition for treating CD43+T cell-mediated or related diseases contains the CD43 antibody or a variant thereof.
