PURPOSE: An automatic folding air cargo container is provided to lift an upper plate using compressed air instead of man power for conveniently and easily loading. CONSTITUTION: An automatic folding air cargo container comprises the following: foldable side plates(20) firmly fixed to a bottom plate(30) using hinges; an upper plate(10) connected to the side plates; a front plate fixed to the front edge of the upper plate; a rear plate(50) attached to the rear edge of the upper plate; and a block(15) attached to the bottom plate for installing an air cylinder. The folded side plates are unfolded when compressed air is injected into the lower die of the air cylinder through an air filler hole(16), and to upper plate is lifted to form a storage space. The compressed air is discharged from the air cylinder when a user opens the air filler hole.
