PURPOSE: A non-toxic resin composition is provided to prevent damages of cable, and to improve mechanical properties, life time, and flame retardance. CONSTITUTION: A non-toxic resin composition comprises high density polyethylene, 40-120 parts by weight of non-halogen-based flame retardant, based on 100.0 parts by weight of high-density polyethylene, 2-40 parts by weight of flame retardant aid based on 100.0 parts by weight of non-halogen based flame retardant, 0.2-8 parts by weight of sub additives based on 100.0 parts by weight the high density polyethylene. The non-halogen based flame retardant comprises metal hydroxide based flame retardant, and additionally comprises 5-50 parts by weight of at least one selected from phosphate, melamines, silicon flame retardant, organic nanoclays.
