<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a rolling stock managing carbon dioxide concentration anticipated in leakage into a vehicle and lowering the carbon dioxide concentration to a concentration of not affecting a human body, and the rolling stock mounted with the air conditioner therein. <P>SOLUTION: A body 100 of equipment of the air conditioner which is mounted to the ceiling of the rolling stock and uses a carbon dioxide as a coolant is divided into a first room 25 for storing indoor heat exchangers 22, a second room 27 for storing outdoor heat exchangers 20 and expansion valves 21, and a third room 28 for storing compressors 19. The first room 25 includes: carbon dioxide concentration sensors 30 for detecting a concentration of the carbon dioxide: dampers 29 for ventilation; damper driving devices 291 for opening and closing the dampers 29 for ventilation; suction ports 40 for sucking air in the vehicle; and blowoff ports 41 for blowing air heat-exchanged by the indoor heat exchangers 22 to the inside of the vehicle. A control part controls the damper driving devices 291 to open and close the dampers 29 for ventilation based on the concentration of the carbon dioxide detected by the carbon dioxide concentration sensors 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
