<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for a vacuum cleaner which is capable of combing out and collecting fallen hair or the like from a wide range of a carpet or the like excellently with light force without damaging the carpet or the like and a protrusion group. <P>SOLUTION: The nozzle for the vacuum cleaner includes a nozzle body 2 having a suction port 6 laterally long with respect to a traveling direction; a connecting pipe part 3 for connecting the nozzle body 2 to a cleaner body; and the protrusion group 20 provided near the suction port 6. The protrusion group 20 is provided on the rear side of the suction port 6 retractably by a coil spring 21 serving as urging means, on the basis of a forward direction being the main traveling direction of the nozzle body 2. The protrusion group 20 is thereby pressed to the carpet C or the like with moderate force. When the nozzle 1 is moved forward along the carpet C in this state, the protrusion group 20 is vertically moved by resistance received from the carpet C. The damage of the carpet C and protrusion group 20 is thereby minimized, and the fallen hair can be combed out from the wide range of the carpet C excellently with light force and sucked from the suction port 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
