<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM frame synchronization procedure which does not rely upon use of a periodic prefix or suffix with regard to the frame synchronization technology in a digital audio broadcasting system. <P>SOLUTION: The method of detecting frame synchronization of a signal received from a transmitter in a data transmission system based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, which is used in the receiver 100 of the data transmission system includes following steps. At first, a signal thus received is searched by searching a data pattern inserted before at a first predetermined subcarrier frequency and at least a second predetermined subcarrier frequency. Subsequently, the frame boundary in the signal thus received is identified as a position where the data pattern is detected at both the first predetermined subcarrier frequency and at least the second predetermined subcarrier frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
