<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image which has had desired lighting applied to a desired part thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A main control unit 51, by letting those pixels of a display unit 21 which constitute a partial area emit light, and while making the area function as illumination with which a part of the subject is irradiated, executes control for having the subject photographed by an image pickup unit 22. An image cutout unit 61 under the control of the main control unit 51, when the subject is successively photographed by the image pickup unit 22 while plural areas of the display unit 21 each are made to function successively as illumination, cuts out data for a partial area from each of the data of plural photographed images successively generated by the image pickup unit 22 to generate image data.
