<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handling property of rolling bearing units with load measuring devices by unifying the gain characteristics input into computing units between the rolling bearing units with the load measuring devices which support right and left wheels, respectively. <P>SOLUTION: The varying states of the characteristics of the surfaces to be measured of an encoder 11 for right wheel assembled in the roller bearing unit with a load measuring device for supporting the right wheel and an encoder 12 for left wheel assembled in the rolling bearing unit with a load measuring device for supporting the left wheel are differentiated from each other. Namely, while the encoders are assembled in a vehicle, the shape of the boundary where the characteristics of the surfaces to be detected of both encoders 11, 12 vary ("chevron" shape in the boundary between a through-hole and a column part) is formed mirror-symmetrical to a virtual plane α which is present at the center of the right and left rolling bearing units with load measuring devices. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
