The wind blocker (1) has a frame (2) mounted at a surrounding structure of a motor vehicle and a bottom section (3) and two free guide sections (4, 5) that are extended from the bottom section. A centre element (6) is supported in a U-shaped receiving portion (7) of the frame by a planar element. The centre element is provided in the bottom section of the frame over spring elements (8, 9). Ratchet levers (12, 13) are provided on an upper end of the guide sections and fixed under forming of the releasable locking connection of the centre element with in the frame.
