The feeder (1) has a drive unit (1.2) coupled with or spatially disconnected from an adjustable mechanism (1.1) by a Bowden cable (3) or a cable and arranged in or at a vehicle, where a seat lock (2) is moved between an original position (A) and a feed position by the adjustable mechanism. The adjustable mechanism comprises a guide rail (1.1.1), a shift element (1.1.2) and a guide element (1.1.3) that is displaced at or on the guide rail. The seat lock is coupled with the guide element by the shift element, and the guide rail is arranged at a body structure of the vehicle.
