<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas re-circulation system which is used in a cross-head type large-sized supercharged two-cycle diesel engine. <P>SOLUTION: At least a part of an exhaust gas re-circulation passage has at least two parallel rows, each row forms a passage, and in each row, there is arranged at least one of a wet scrubber for treating or controlling a re-circulation exhaust gas, a dry filter, a cooler, a condenser, a heater, a mist caster, a blower, a compressor and a valve.
