<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell with a terminal which excels in heat resistance and enables reflow-soldering, and which has the minimum footprint when it is surface-mounted on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The electrochemical cell with a terminal includes a button-type or coin-type electrochemical cell with a predetermined height having two cell cases serving as a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and two terminals respectively welded to the two cell cases for surface-mounting the electrochemical cell onto the substrate. One of the two terminals has a surface A welded to one of the two cell cases, a surface B continuing from the surface A in a cell height direction, and a surface C for soldering continuing from the surface B. The other of the two terminals has a surface welded to the other one of the two cell cases and a surface for soldering continuing from the surface, and the other one of the two terminals does not project out of a circumscribed square when the square is drawn to circumscribe one of the two cell cases having a larger diameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
