A data protection method and device on a Un interface. The method comprises: negotiating corresponding integrity protection algorithms and encryption algorithms for signaling data borne in a signaling radio bearer (SRB), signaling data borne in a data radio bearer-s (DRBs), and service data borne in a data radio bearer-d (DRBd) on a Un interface; and performing security protection on the signaling data borne in the SRB, the signaling data borne in the DRBs and the service data borne in the DRBd by use of the negotiated integrity protection algorithms and encryption algorithms. The method and system of the embodiments of the present invention adopt the corresponding integrity protection algorithms and encryption algorithms to protect the data borne by the three types of RBs on the Un interface, so that the data security protection on the Un interface is more comprehensive, thereby satisfying security protection requirements of data borne by different RBs.
