When output current is cut off by a disconnection, a control unit (7) immediately temporarily interrupts a DC/DC converter (3) to suppress excess current when recovering. Thereafter, the control unit (7) repeats the temporary interruption and a temporary operation of the DC/DC converter (3) either a prescribed number of times or over a prescribed interval in order to verify whether the cutoff of the output current is ephemeral or persistent, and if the cutoff is persistent, continuously interrupts the DC/DC converter (3), switching off an LED light source (4).
