<p>The compress has a cover (5) with high water absorbing capacity polymer particles (6) disposed at its interior. The particles are non-toxic and are initially at a dry state. The cover is closed on its edges by weld line having a width of 3-7 millimeter. The compress is associated with a water bag (4) in an outer sachet of an article e.g. bandage. The cover is fabricated in a manner to form several elongated compartments. An independent claim is also included for a process for manufacturing a compress.</p> |
