PURPOSE: An electronic component mounting device is provided to accurately detect a load applied to an absorption nozzle and a nozzle shaft by detecting the load around a nozzle shaft. CONSTITUTION: A main body unit(60) is fixed to a head(106). A lifting element(14) is liftably supported by the main body. A lifting device(20) gives a lifting operation to the lifting element. A nozzle shaft(30) maintains an absorption nozzle on the lower side thereof. A rotating device(50) gives a rotation operation to the nozzle shaft through a spline nut(55).
